Last year I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Kenya for several weeks to work and invest in the spread of the Gospel there. It was an incredible time of learning, connecting with new and old friends, mixed in with a healthy dose of adventure. Together, we taught families in Bungoma about how to purify water and avoid foodborne illness. With your support, I was able to summit the highest peak in Africa while raising almost $20,000 to help build a high school in western Kenya. Lives were blessed and the love of God was spread because of your willingness to support me, and I am inexpressibly grateful!

Now, I have been invited to return to Kenya to work with HIV/AIDS patients, partnering with full time Kenyan staff at medical centers that are designed to educate those who live with AIDS to deal with the challenges that they face, physically, socially and most important, spiritually. To be honest, this is new and uncomfortable territory for me. I have had very little interaction with individuals living with AIDS. Although it is a new and nerve-wracking challenge for me, I truly believe that God calls us to love and serve those who are shunned by society. I don't presume to have all the answers, only to listen, learn and love the same way God has loved me.

Please help me support CARE for AIDS by making a donation through my page. The process is fast, easy and secure. Thanks so much for your support... and please dont forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!

About

The Campaign:

Impact Trip

A CARE for AIDS Impact Trip provides the opportunity for men and women in the United States to meet

The Organization:

CARE for AIDS

CARE for AIDS partners with local Kenyan churches to operate life transforming centers that serve the physical, spiritual, economic, and social needs of men and women living with HIV/AIDS. Each of these centers operate from within the local church and serve 80 clients at a time. These 80 men and women go through a nine month process of education, training, and support in order to live full, productive, and healthy lives.
